The Centre for Applied Legal Research of the Institute of Education: Education Law

The Centre for Applied Legal Research of the Institute of Education, National Research University Higher School of Economics in Moscow (Russia) invites applications for postdoctoral research positions in the field of Education Law.

The job involves:

• working under the direct supervision of  Prof. Jan De Groof;
• participants are encouraged to pursue their own research within the Centre for Applied Legal Research projects in the area of Comparative Education Law;
• writing research papers for international peer-reviewed journals in also co-authorship with the members of the Centre;
• participation in organization of the events and other contribution to the Centre’s development;
• public presentations of candidate’s own research to the researchers in the field and the broader academic community;
• some teaching is encouraged, though not required.

The Institute of Education conducts annual empirical studies that provide extensive data for the researchers. The Centre offers access to its databases and analytical software also.

Requirements:

• a PhD from an international research university in such fields as: Law, Policy Analysis, Economics, Education Studies;
• a strong background in legislative analysis, international comparative analysis;
• ability to work in a team;
• fluent English;
